Nonprofit Assistance Program
TO: AVID NONPROFIT CLIENTS
As a nonprofit client of Avid Communications, you might be interested in our plan to help our nonprofit clients weather the bad economy.
Any new commercial customer of Avid may direct a credit equal to their first month’s service bill to your account. It doesn’t cost them anything and it immediately reduces or eliminates your Avid bill for service or equipment.
There is no limit to the number or total amount of the credits you can receive. There is no application process or paperwork. Avid will take care of everything.
By way of example, if a business has a $2,000 monthly phone (and Internet and equipment) bill, you would receive a $2,000 credit. Since many of your supporters have businesses that are fairly good sized, just a few of them participating in this could eliminate your telecom and Internet costs this year and even in years to come. The credits don’t expire.
In our pilot of this program, a single business was able to cover the monthly costs of an organization for the next two years!
We will run this program for all of 2009, and if tough times persist, we will extend it further.
There is no requirement that you publicize this program to your supporters in order to benefit, but if you choose to do so, Avid will provide the following support:
–A description of the program for inclusion in a letter or newsletter or for posting on a web site
–Text for an email
–An insert for a mailing
