Supporting Bukaty Companies since 2009
We’ve been very fortunate to be the communications provider for the Bukaty Companies since 2009. During that time, their growth has been staggering and they’ve expanded into multiple locations across southern Johnson County as well as outside of Kansas. Avid’s role has grown as Bukaty has grown.
Originally, our services consisted of a traditional voice connection (PRI) and Internet Access. As they’ve grown, they’ve needed more sophisticated voice and data solutions. Their internet access has gone from multiple T-1 circuits to multiple fiber connections exceeding 100Mbps.
The voice requirements have changed to include Voice over IP to transparently link geographically separate offices. We’ve also provided complete call center functionality, including advanced call queues, call recording, listen-in, whisper and barge in. The voice solutions have been customized for individual departments to meet their unique needs. All of the solutions are used to support the Bukaty Companies’ commitment to providing outstanding client service.
We’ve deployed and manage the firewalls at their locations. This allowed us to create a single internal network. We provide redundant connections at each location for voice and data using fiber and fixed wireless for both internal traffic as well as phone and internet connectivity.
Their changing needs demanded a much more sophisticated network solution. They needed more bandwidth, complex routing and complete network redundancy. The solution had to be transparent to the employees–it needed to work while providing flexibility for employees to be at any location and securely access the information they need.
We didn’t want to change the way they work. The technology is transparent. The end result is that their system is faster and more reliable.
