Getting the most from a conference bridge
We’ve just introduced an audio conference bridge service that will support up to 50 users on a single conference call.
We’ve already seen a number of clients incorporate this into their daily business operations. It allows a moderator to exert control over a conference call by: (1) knowing exactly who is on the bridge through a web browser, (2) adjusting from a control panel the input volume of each caller (e.g. to reduce cell phone noise), (3) muting or dropping participants, (4) locking the call so nobody else can join and (5) recording all or parts of the call with a single mouse click.
Our clients can purchase their own “ports” on the bridge in increments of 5 up to a maximum of 50. Call participants dial the same 800 number. A generous amount of toll-free minutes are included with each port purchased (as always, our goal is to never bill anything on a per-minute basis!). Clients can use the bridge whenever they like. They don’t need reservations. They don’t need an operator.
This is particularly popular with architects and lawyers. It takes no training to use. It’s the kind of service Avid is proud to make affordable to all our clients.
