We continue to see competitor’s customers being given exponential increases to their POTS lines (also referred to as Plain Old Telephone Service) with little or no notice. Sometimes they offer them a “deal” with a long term contract. Other times, they are told that they can either figure out a new solution or pay hundreds of dollars more a month for those lines.
C&M Restoration just had this happen to them.
Concrete and Masonry Restoration’s foremost function is to preserve, maintain and restore concrete and masonry structures throughout our metro area. They view their services as being greater and grander than singularly producing revenues for C&M; they shoulder a very important responsibility and essential role in safeguarding the exteriors of many of Kansas City’s structures.
When their IT consultant saw the changes in pricing a national provider wanted to move forward with, he knew Avid Communications would be able to help. Avid was not only able to help save them money, but we also upgraded their phone system.
Saving the Day
In less than two weeks we were able to onboard them so that they wouldn’t be on the hook for the ridiculous rate increases. We also introduced them to the right people at Google Fiber, in hopes of getting the best fiber solution for their business.
We are confident C&M Restoration will be a long term customer with these solutions. It doesn’t hurt that in the eyes of Shannon Uhrig, the Office Administrator for C&M Restoration, we literally saved the day. We’re proud to bring them on board!
