Customer Spotlight: H&K Smart Fence, Inc.

We announced in January that we’ve opened our office in Des Moines. We’ve actually had clients in Des Moines for a while now. H&K Smart Fence, Inc. has been with us since early 2019. We were introduced to them by a referral partner here in Kansas City that also does business with clients in Des Moines.

Laren Landgren, our agent manager, connected with Kirk Martin, the General Manager of H&K Smart Fence to talk about doing business together. Laren learned they were using company-provided cell phones for the majority of their calls.

Kirk wanted to upgrade to a VoIP business phone system so they could take advantage of an auto-attendant for routing incoming calls. He also liked the idea that our Unified Communications application can transform a personal cell phone into a business cell phone. This meant that Kirk would no longer need to provide new employees with company cell phones. This would save a significant amount on their monthly bill while reducing the amount of legwork involved in deploying and managing cell phones. Additionally, with an upgrade to our VoIP business phones, H&K Smart Fence could start taking advantage of features like voicemail to email.

Laren went to Des Moines personally to do the installation. Kirk made sure his sales team was available for the mobile app installs.
